Refund policy

At Darla’s Doghouse, every piece is made just for you and your pup. Because our items are custom and personalized, we have a slightly different policy than traditional retail stores.

Custom & Personalized Items

All personalized items (including photo engravings, custom names, dates, paw prints, etc.) are final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Each item is created specifically for your pet, which means we cannot restock or resell it.

Please double-check:
• Spelling of names
• Dates
• Uploaded photos (clear, straight-on images work best)
• Metal/color selections

We are not responsible for errors submitted during checkout.


Photo Quality Disclaimer (Important)

The quality of your final engraving depends heavily on the quality of the photo you provide.

By submitting a photo, you acknowledge that:

  • Images must be clear, high-resolution, and well-lit
  • Blurry, dark, pixelated, or heavily filtered photos may affect the final result
  • Photos should be straight-on (not angled or partially obstructed)
  • Screenshots or low-resolution social media downloads may reduce engraving quality

Darla’s Doghouse is not responsible for poor engraving results caused by low-quality images submitted by the customer.

If a submitted image is unusable, we may contact you to request a replacement photo before production.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged or we made an error on our end, we will absolutely make it right.

Please contact us within 5 days of delivery at fetch@darlasdoghouse.com with:
• Your order number
• Clear photos of the item
• A description of the issue

We may offer:
• A replacement
• A store credit
• A refund (if applicable)


Shipping Issues

Once your order leaves our hands, shipping times are controlled by the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS or other carriers.
